K-12 Education
Creating the Next Generation of Water Stewards
FTR’s K-12 Education Program inspires youth to engage in hands-on learning, starting with our youngest watershed scientists in Kindergarten, all the way through high school. We work closely with Teton Valley public and private schools to provide high quality watershed science curriculum, programming, equipment, and resources. Through in-class presentations, science experiments, field days, or class projects, we reach more than 500 students each year. Our flagship field education programs include Stream Study, Trout in the Classroom, Water Awareness Week, and Nitrate Testing.
