Teton River Float with Friends of the Teton River

July 17 @ 9:30 am - 12:30 pm

Join FTR’s executive Director, Amy Verbeten for a morning float on the Teton River.  During the float, we will provide opportunities for informal conversation about FTR’s current watershed conservation projects and the status of the Teton River fishery.

Participants will be required to bring their own water craft & PFD and coordinate their own shuttles. Please be ready to float at 9:30, with your shuttle already run and gear ready to go.  Participants should have appropriate skills/experience to navigate their own watercraft on moving water at moderate/high flows. FTR will NOT provide water crafts or gear. FTR will NOT provide a shuttle from the take out back to the put in.

The float will be limited to 12 participants.  Please email [email protected] to reserve your spot no later than 5 PM on Wednesday, July 15.

**Participants will be required to practice social distancing the entire outing and activities will be structured to allow participants to do so.  Although participants will not be closer than 6 feet at any point during the float, masks are certainly welcome.    If you or anyone in your family feels ill or if you have had known contact with someone with COVID-19 symptoms, please do not attend and contact us to cancel your sign-up.
