Teton County, ID. River Use Charette
November 30 @ 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm
Teton County invites you to participate in a community charette to discuss potential solutions to address increased recreational use impacts on the Teton River.
A charette is an intense work session where diverse groups of people come together in an innovative, collaborative atmosphere to design possible solutions for the future.
If you are impacted by use of the Teton River or have an influence on management and use of the Teton River you are a key stakeholder. We are inviting your creative engagement at two community charrettes, each 3-hours in length.
In a robust response to our public survey, residents and Teton Valley visitors expressed concern over the increase of recreational impacts on the river ecosystem and the user experience. During the charette, we will share information gathered from local surveys and research on potential solutions assimilated from other communities. Participants will engage in facilitated breakout groups and work sessions to evaluate possible solutions.
Your voice matters and is needed at this engagement.
