Teton Watershed Education Program
FTR works with Teton Valley K-12 students by assisting teachers with water education programs, leading hands-on lessons during field trips and classroom teaching. Program highlights include: water quality testing, stream monitoring, macroinvertebrate collection and biological assessments, wintertime snow studies and restoration work.

Adult Education

Public Forums—FTR organizes public forums about local watershed issues to educate the public and listen to feedback from local citizens. Past topics have included the Snake River Adjudication Process, results of FTR research on groundwater and Yellowstone Cutthroat trout, the Columbia Basin Watershed, stream flow prediction in Idaho and the Teton Watershed Curriculum.

Continuing Education—FTR offers courses in hydrology and water science for adult continuing education credit. This option is suited for professionals or teachers looking for credits towards recertification or the layperson with an interest in the science of water.
